: This archive of primary documents from World War I has been assembled by volunteers of the World War I Military History List.  It contains Conventions, Treaties,  & Official Papers, Diaries, Memorials, Personal Reminiscences, Biographical Dictionary, Image Archive, Maritime War, and links to other WWI sites.

: A Library of Congress American Memory Collection. Search the ACTUAL newspaper by date and issue. These are scanned images of most pages of the newspaper, complete with reports of action from the USA soldiers' point of view.

: This database contains the digitized War Diaries of the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) units. From the start of the First World War, CEF units were required to maintain a daily account of their  “Actions in the Field.” This log was called a War Diary. The War Diaries are not personal diaries, rather they are a  historical record of a unit’s administration, operations and activities during the First World War.

: Over the years many World War I veterans have shared their experiences with the BBC. Listen to these first-hand accounts of courage, fear and humour on the battlefield from the BBC's radio archives.
